The QuickShadow tool actually does a few different things depending on the situation.  It will either:

Apply a shadow using the current default settings or apply a shadow using the settings saved with the selected shape.  Also, holding down the SHIFT key while clicking on QuickShadow will force the Quality Setting to Best.

 

If the shape(s) selected have been reverted to original, then pptXTREME SoftShadow has saved settings specific to that shape.  Applying QuickShadow to this shape will automatically use those saved settings.  

 

If there is no saved setting with that shape, then QuickShadow will used the last saved settings. (see the Save Settings checkbox on the Apply Shadow Dialog)

 

Tip:	You can select more that 1 shape:  Select as many shapes as you like and QuickShadow will process them all individually.

 

Tip:	Pressing the SHIFT key while clicking on QuickShadow will force the Quality Setting to Best.
