Import File Path:
This shows the Photoshop path and filename that will be imported. You can type this information in, click Browse search for a file, or check the Import from Active Document.
Import from Active Document:
Instead of browsing for a PSD file, you can tell pptXTREME to import the currently active Photoshop document. Clicking this check box will automatically fill in the Import File Path text box and update the Select Layers area. You MUST have a file open (and saved) in Photoshop to use this feature.
Select Layers to Import:
This will list every 'first-level' layer (and layerset) in the document. By default the layers that are visible in the original document will be highlighted. You may click on a layer to toggle highlighting. Only the layers that are highlighted will be included in you import process. Clicking on the Default button to the right, will return the layer selections to it's original state based on the visibility in the Photoshop document.
Import Background:
If your document has a layer with the name Background or BKG, pptXTREME will assume that this is the background layer (layerset). All layers below this layer will be ignored. By checking the Import Background check box, the 'background layer' will be exported as a high-quality jpg and automatically inserted as the background for the PowerPoint slide.
Export from Photoshop Properties:
Folder to export images to is the path where the PNGs and JPGs exported from photoshop will be saved. You can set this parameter by typing in the path or clicking the Browse button. This path will be saved with the presentation relative to the path of the presentation. So next time you use a pptXTREME tool on this presentation, it will remember where your images are stored (even if you have quit PowerPoint or edited another presentation in the interim.
Export Filename Prefix: All layers are first cropped and exported from Photoshop, then imported to PowerPoint. Filenames are created like this: <PREFIX>-<LAYERNAME>.<EXT> So in the example above, the first layer would be exported as Sample-TopMenu.png and save in the folder c:\Presentations\PSDIMPORT IMAGES.
Note: Files imported with Photoshop Import are tagged for use with pptXTREME's
features.
