The Import tool allows you to make a slide show from hundreds (as many as you like) of pictures in an instant.

 

Clicking on Import brings up the Import Pictures Window.  Click Select Files, and browse to the folder and select any or all of the images you want to import, click Open.

 

The listbox on the right lists the images in alphabetical order.  Highlight an image and click Move Up or Move down to change the order in the list.  Click on the Preview Check Box to see a preview of the image selected (note: some file formats do not allow for previews, they will still be imported correctly).

 

Selecting the Import as Backgrounds tab (default) will import the images to backgrounds.  

• Selecting Create New Slides will create a new slide for each image.
• Selecting Set Background existing slides will change the background, to the new images.  It will start with the first slide (or first selected slide) and use the first image for the first slide, second image for the second slide, etc...

 

Selecting Import as Inserted Pictures will insert the images as an object.

• Selecting Create New Slides will create a new slide for each image.
• Selecting Insert on existing slides will Import the images to the selected slide.  It will start with the first slide (or first selected slide) and use the first image for the first slide, second image for the second slide, etc...
• Choose Send to Back to automatically have the image the bottom-most image on the slide.
• Sizing Options:
• Full Frame (proportional) will keep the original image proportions make the image as big as it can without making it bigger than your slide.  So if it is a horizontal image, it will fill the width of the slide and be centered vertically.  Likewise, if you insert a vertical image, it will fill the height of the slide and center the image horizontally.
• Full Frame (Stretched) will make the image the same size as your slide, regardless of the proportions of the original image.  This may make your images appear streched.
• Image Default:  Use pptXTREME SetDPI and your image will be inserted at the RiteSize.
