Microsoft® PowerPoint® is – without question or doubt - the standard for the design and development of presentation graphics.  Since version 2002 and the addition of hardware accelerated custom animations, PowerPoint® has evolved from a simple slide-based presentation tool to become a powerful graphic presentation tool with complex and often astonishingly simple to produce animation capabilities. Once scoffed at by specialized meeting producers, the tool has become a mainstay for large corporate meetings and the design professionals who support them.

As powerful as it has become, the core PowerPoint® toolset is still somewhat limiting. There are many common and repetitive tasks that should be quick and easy and yet are not. pptXTREME™ fills those gaps – bringing speed, added functionality, and new features that are not part of PowerPoint® itself.

 

Where we began …

The pptXTREME™ development team come from people like you – the day-to-day, often frustrated, PowerPoint® users who find themselves wishing for those minor enhancements that would make life just a little easier.

Like so many other PowerPoint® users, we began by writing a few macros intended to automate those repetitive and most often used processes.  Soon we realized that we had a lot of useful tools and expertise that needed to shared with other people like us – to help ease the frustration that we ourselves so often experienced.

 

Where we’re going …

Our ultimate goal is to expand the pptXTREME™ suite of tools, offering an ever increasing set of solutions and shortcuts to the PowerPoint® community. Please come back – and often - while this site grows and develops into a comprehensive resource.
